The smoke is finally beginning to clear around here, so we decided to spend Sunday evening playing in the backyard. (After a week in school with NO recesses, the kids are a bit stir crazy!) We had a lot of fun together - which just goes to show that sometimes the best family times are the simplest ones. As a bonus, we also had a chance to try out our new camera. We're still trying to figure out how to use it, but here are a few of our favorite shots...

Camille spent the evening rolling around in the grass. I told her that she would be sorry, but she couldn't resist. I resisted the "I told you so" route as she laid crying in her bed until 10:00 because she was itching so bad.

It's true. We had a day like that on Saturday. No work, just hanging out and it was the best. Everyone needs to slow down sometimes and enjoy each others company. Glad you guys could finally get outside. I didn't know the smoke was that bad there.
Great photos!
Great pics! Now you need to teach hubby how to use it, and then we could see a picture of you! We did the same on Sunday...stayed outside until the sun went down, I hope the smoke stays away.
what a great family you are. I love seeing how much the kids have grown and I love the picture of the dogs tongue. Very cute. Glad that you could go outside now. The fires are awful.
what camera did you go with? I'm still learning on mine....love the process though! Great pictures. Love the one of Camille.
